Neither the description nor the photos show accurately how little usable space this pack has. I bought it to replace my smaller 15 year old LeSportSac pack which I love for both around town and travel, thinking it would give me more useful space. Wrong! First, front to back this pack is shallower than the older model, narrower even than my Danielle bag - no way you could put even a thin sweater in this pack. It lacks the usable exterior open pocket behind the zipped exterior pocket that my old one has; instead it had 2 open-top side pockets. Not everyone wants 2 side pockets that are too small for most water bottles - what are these pockets supposed to be good for? You can't put a map or any sort of papers in them. Inside the only pocket is full depth of the pack, as if it was meant for a laptop. However, it's too tight for a 13in MacBook. There's no small, convenient phone/keys pocket similar to what my old LeSportSac pack has, and no internal zip pocket to secure your wallet. Not even a key hook in this bag - who wants to fish through the depths of the bag where your stuff is all jumbled together to find your keys every time? I can't guess what the designers were thinking of when they created this pack, but it wasn't creating a useful bag for around-town errands, it's way too small for hiking and no good for air travel.
Love…beautiful print…just the right size for our trips to Disneyland during spring and summer…no need for jackets so just enough room to pack essentials…I also have the large backpack and will definitely use for our trips in the fall and winter at Disneyland…😊
