I've gone to a smaller bag and have this style in several patterns. It holds what I need and dies not add weight. Perfect!
I have several LeSportsac bags and I have loved the Daniella for some time. I own a floral print Daniella and the Celestial Shimmer print released last fall/winter. When I ordered a third in solid black I thought I knew what to expect but the bag has changed and I do not like it as much. The latest solid black one I received has greater recycled content in the nylon and the material is thicker and stiffer overall. It also feels like the bottom panel has greater reinforcement. I imagine there are some folks who will like these changes as they may want a more structured bag but, for me, it takes away from what I liked about my other Daniellas. This latest version is stiffer and I do not like the boxier quality. The material feels cheaper and more plasticky. One of the things I like about LeSportsac the most is how soft and squishy the bags are --the Daniella was especially very "scrunchable". I am adding a picture so people get a better idea of what I do not like about it: my new black Daniella next to my old floral Daniella. I tried scrunching up the black one and it retains its shape but the floral one you can scrunch up in a ball. Again, some people might love how the new one stays put, but I do not. I will still use this bag but it is a 3/5 for me when the previous version was a 5/5.
I've downsized my purse over the years- the bigger the bag the more unnecessary stuff you end up carrying around- and this is the perfect size for everyday. I can easily fit my small wallet, glasses, lip balm, keys, phone, portable charger, and some assorted items that I keep organized in a little triple zip LeSportsac bag. I also love that LeSportsac purses often have zippered pockets on the front and back- prevents things from falling out. And I LOVE the ripstop parachute nylon, there's something so appealing about it. I just got this in plain black so it goes with everything.
