I have used Le Sportsac for years, I injured my neck and both shoulders so I was looking for a sturdy lightweight bag and my daughter brought me a Le Sportsac and they are now my main bag.

Looks Like A Winner

I just received this handbag today, and I already see I’m going to love it. What’s not to love? It’s a Lesportsac. The stamped blossom debossed pattern is lovely. There are pockets inside and outside. They will help me to organize what I put in the handbag. The zippered side pocket is good for easy access to hand sanitizer and other small items.

opening is too small for its size & it looks bigger than it really is which is doubly bad

Lesportsac is good about giving the dimensions of their bags in inches and in centimeters. I was hoping that this bag was smaller than the everyday deluxe bag. It technically is: the everyday deluxe bag is double in volume at about 11 liters, this bag about 6. However, the feeling and look of the bag is larger, almost double in profile, so it's worse than the deluxe everyday bag on 2 counts: it looks larger and it holds less. What's even more irritating is that the main zipper is smaller than the space inside it. So you can't really make use of the space of the bag, for instance with an ipad or jacket. The 1974 power pellets PacMan fabric looks super cool on screen, but in person, it's off scale: it's really quite large for the size of the bag. I think the 1974 Warp Maze might look cooler in person. I'm waiting to see that in my new order. Also, it doesn't make sense to me that the double pull pocket exists. Why? What is that good for? I really like the security pocket that reveals different (bright yellow) fabric, but that pocket doesn't do much than hide either a phone or wallet--it's orientation is horizontal and so it's awkward for either a phone or wallet. Maybe it's better as a secret pocket for a passport. The worst part, really, is the size of the main zipper relative to the volume of the bag. The hobo shape isn't kidney shaped, but shaped like a trapezoid, with the top smaller than the bottom. I had been looking for a bag bigger than the super awesome tokidoki mini hobo that's 1.5 liters and smaller than the deluxe everyday bag at 11 liters. I think the better design for me will be the field flip bag which is 5.6 liters, a bag that is technically and visually smaller. The weight of this bag is about the same as the everyday deluxe bag and I was hoping for a bag that was even lighter. This is honestly a stupid bag. The deluxe everyday bag is much better for look and volume. This bag looks larger than it really is, which makes it bad on 2 counts. The only redeeming feature is the cool fabric and the quality of the fabric.
